Certify your knowledge and learn additional information through this nationally recognized program offered by HASC and the Safety Council of the Louisiana Capital Area.

North American Background Screening Consortium (NABSC)

The North American Background Screening Consortium (NABSC) is a standardized and reciprocal criminal background screening program. Modeled after the highly successful North American Substance Abuse Program (NASAP), NABSC is designed to meet Owner/Plant Facility site requirements and assist Contractor Employers in compliance with multiple site access requirements. e-RoutingCard

The e-RoutingCard is the fast and easy solution to waiting in line to register for training at the Houston Area Safety Council.  Eligible trainees can skip the registration line and go directly to class.  The e-RoutingCard is available to HASC members on the new Extranet.

Houston Area Safety Council - NASA-Annex


HASC has experienced unprecedented growth over the past two years and to better serve our members, we are pleased to announce the opening of our satellite location in Webster, Texas. The nearly 10,000 sq. ft. location will serve as an affiliate branch to the HASC Deer Park - Headquarters.  The NASA-Annex is located at the southeast corner of I-45 and Nasa Rd. 1.  Offering all multimedia curricula available in Deer Park on 120 computers, the NASA - Annex also offers Basic Orientation Plus, Respirator and Supplied Air Training and Medical Services (Audiometric, PFT and Fit Testing).
